Ever since I decided to tap into my more creative side, I’ve been inspired by minimal aesthetics – especially if there’s a splash of greenery in there. Whether it’s a vanilla latte sitting on a marble table or a succulent resting on a white shelf, I’m either taking a photo of it or wishing I could.
With article deadlines on my calendar and a go-to outfit on my mind, I decided to spend my afternoon working at Cavo Coffee. My mom originally told me about this location since it fit my Instagram theme (she’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom), so naturally I had to visit.
Due to the fact that moms are always right, I enjoyed everything about Cavo Coffee. There were big windows, white walls, rose gold chairs, and coffee (so everything that love is made from and dreams are made of).
With summer coming to an end, my outfit consisted of the trends that made it iconic – tassel earrings and gingham print. As a fun and preppy look, my favorite part of this outfit was the fact that it was classic without being boring. And of course, the contrasting color I chose was none other than blush. If you’ve gone shopping at all this summer (it’s fine if you haven’t, binge watching Netflix is still a thing as well), you’ll know that this color is taking over the world and our social media timelines (so yes, the world).
Combined with a side braid and my favorite pair of white shorts, this outfit quickly became my favorite go-to and the one I knew I had to save for my last summer fashion post.
Of course everyone knows your outfit is only as good as your purse. As a continuous victim and fan of Kate Spade (it’s complicated, I know), I don’t really have anything to say for why I needed a blush purse other than – I’m not sorry. In addition to this, it also matched with my tassel earrings so if that’s not fate, I’m not sure what is.
Last but not least are my sandals – they’re currently my favorite pair of the season and I’m 97% convinced it’s because they don’t have straps. Along with taking seconds to put on, the neutral color goes with any outfit you wear and adds the extra touch that makes you feel like the adult that you are (or are trying to be). Honestly, whoever said convenience and class are hard to find didn’t have these shoes – which makes sense because I got the last size 6 for 50% off (again, I’m not sorry).
You’re so cute, I love your style of writing its like a cup of orange juice with pulp. Great taste with a little twang and most of all a rarity that only few can possess. <3
